THE MOP EXPERIENCE

10/14/2014: Patch 6.0.2
I'll upload a new web page before the end of the month, and certainly more thoughts then.

08/26/2014: Countdown To November...
Although I haven't kept up with anything WoW related recently as far as updates are concerned (and I usually don't), there was apparently a cinematic reveal as well as the reveal of when "Warlords of Draenor" is going to be finally available. It's the second week of November, and in a few months players are going to get their WoD on. I'll upload a WoD web page as well while archiving MoP. In the meantime, I have some ideas for another WoW cinematic parody that involves the fat guy muhaha.

In the meantime, here is the full cinematic:

07/04/2014:
I figure that it'll be another few months before WoD arrives, but by then another year has already passed us by. Nevertheless, I'll prepare to create and upload a new web page for the new expansion WoD. When it does, I'll make sure to have a box of lucky charms cereal and some orders of pizza pies ready before declaring "...and tho it begins" muhaha.

Anyway, in the meantime. I've been working on my alts, and going after both PvP and PvE achievements. When it comes to PvP, I make sure to get a particular achievement as well as win a battleground whenever possible, not at the expense of one or the other. As for alts, I enjoy the experience of leveling and gearing up although most seasoned players would rather just quickly get to max level with heirlooms. I don't believe in, nor do I agree with the free boosting of a char automatically to 90. Not only does it take away the motivation to level another char or an alt, but it also takes away the learning curve necessary to learn the WoW gaming environment as well as a player's own class and char. Nonetheless, I'm sure there are some that can figure things out on the fly.

Most of us are continuing to wait for WoD, but some of us do have concrete ideas for our chars. I think they should return multiqueue-ing of random bg's to compensate for the wait times; at least selecting 3 or more battlegrounds to wait for. Not sure why that was eliminated in the first place, but whatever heh. I suppose I don't pay attention to these things whatever the rhyme or reason.

03/25/2014: Update
I wouldn't be surprised if there is already speculation about when WoD is going to be released. I probably would guess by the end of the year around November, but I'm sure most would be as optimistic as to say around September or October. Regardless, there are things to do in the meantime either in game or outside of it. It's a good thing that I'm not WoW'ing as much anymore, and focusing more energy on other endeavors.

I always believed that if I had invested and dedicated myself to PvP from the get go, I could've become a serious as well as a competitive tournament player. I don't think it's too late, but I've already realized that I can't put in the dedication or investment to really put forth energy or time in that.

01/15/14:
The rarest of the rares finally spawned while I was on my alt. Golgonarr has raid boss health, but it was quite fortuitous that there were others around. I sometimes think that Blizz makes certain rares too rare, but anyway. I immediately got on my main which happened to be on the vicinity and got the achievement. And now "To The Looter Goes The Spoils" has got to be the new rarest thing of all.

01/09/14: What To Do Before The New Expansion Warlords Of Draenor...
My log-in hours could be dwindling as things get busier for me. Next month, I'll be traveling so I won't have any time at all to log-in. So I better get as much hours as possible this month. I'm definitely working on main for now, and focusing on achievements. For PvE, "Glory Of The Pandaria Hero" with only 3 more achievements to go. Only if the PUG would cooperate muhaha. Premades are necessary and a lot are not soloable. I think eventually if I queue up enough times, there'll be a group not minding to go for them. On PvP side, a few BG achievements are attainable but extruciatingly time consuming and difficult as far as pugs are concerned.

As far as future content is concerned, a World Boss Finder of some sort would be interesting if that's even feasible at all(for all world bosses that is). When I log in usually, the servers are mostly empty so it's usually futile to spam the chat channels if at all.

In the meantime, let us all enjoy the big ass damage or healing numbers as is until they are condensed to level 75 numbers. It's going to be weird and getting used to, but ultimately necessary I guess.

12/28/13: Happy Holidays From Thrall muhahahah....

11/08/13: It's "Warlords Of Draenor"
And "tho" it'll begin......again. Eventually muhaha. I'm definitely looking forward to this, although next year is not as certain as far as WoW'ing is concerned. But I'll have to find a way if at all.

In particular, I like the leveling from 90-100; going back to the 10-level process which would allow for us to enjoy the content more. There are players who'll go after "World Firsts" and who only care for max level content, but that doesn't really matter to me. In my opinion, there is no need to rush at anything if you want to experience or enjoy the entire content. I certainly haven't soaked in everything what the new expansion has to offer, but there's plenty of time for that since it was just announced today.

With that said, here is a preview of the upcoming expansion. I'm sure there'll be a full cinematic later on (click image to activate video).

In my travels thus far in Pandaria, I've come across all kinds of vermins and mobs. But the Angry Fat Guy roaming The Valley Of The Four Winds? Now that's a sight you don't see everyday...or from the looks of it you can at least see it from everywhere muhahaha. I thought, "I can nuke this guy down but the AFG can be popped like a balloon with one flick of the wrist unless he pounces on ya with his 100K weight" muhahaha...
